The Klondike Sun is largely a volunteer-run project, with the majority of our content coming from community members and readers like you. On an ongoing basis we are accepting submissions of stories, photos, cartoons, and fiction for publication.

The bulk of our content is produced by volunteers at the moment but, in an effort to amplify fresh perspectives and new voices, the Klondike Sun is offering the opportunity for you to be paid for your story and photo submissions! The Sun will place up to one Feature Article and one Cover Photo in each of our upcoming editions.
Feature Article ($75) would be 800 words, involving interviews with at least two people. These are news articles and/or profiles, not opinion pieces. Note: you will also be responsible for sourcing 2 print-quality images to go with the article (either taken by you, or given to you with permission to use).
Cover Photo ($50) needs to look sharp in black & white (for our print edition) and also be provided in colour (for our digital channels). These are compelling photos of people in action, at local events.
